Target Audience
"very stong work" - Frank Rybicki M.D. PhD. Co-Director Cardiac Imaging, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.
This three DVD program has been developed for Cardiologists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Radiologists, Radiology Technicians and Nurses who would like to increase their knowledge of Coronary Artery Computed Tomography.
To receive continuing education credit, participants must complete the post test with a score of 80% or greater and return the request form along with the $35.00 processing fee to the accrediting organization, the University of South Florida.
Upon purchase of a DVD set, a letter will be provided by the course director that upon completion of the course the viewer will have reviewed with mentoring a total of 100 contrast cardiovascular computed tomography(CCT) examinations to be used in preparation to meet ACCF/AHA clinical competence in cardiac imaging with computed tomography.
Educational Objectives
- Recognize normal coronary distribution
- Understand anatomical variances of the coronary arteries
- Recognize artifacts which can lead to misdiagnosis
- Understand and recognize normal and pathological bypasses and stents
- Have a systematic approach to evaluating cardiac chambers, great vessels, valves, and the myocardium
With this 3 DVD Set you will learn from over 100 mentored cases to be applied towards achieving level 1, 2 or 3 cardiac CT core competency. All cases are presented and reviewed on the workstation by Dr. de Feyter, or Dr. Harrison and Tracy Saunders.
