Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this program you should be able to:

  • Understand the advantages and risks of therapeutic hypothermia for certain patients
  • Know who to cool and for how long
  • use certain cooling equipment
  • introduce post cardiac arrest protocols at the hospital
  • Avoid complications during re-warming
