The program includes lectures, two complete series of mentored case studies on DVDs as well as unprocessed workstation cases, on site instructions and internet case mentoring with the Cardiac NetMentorTM. Case review and processing is exclusively held on VitalImagesTM Workstations with the Cardiac NetMentorTM Software, without regard to the make of the CT scanner. This comprehensive training program for reading Cardiac CT is a unique opportunity for cardiologists and radiologists to be trained at their site by using modern technology and the expertise of level III mentors as well as a skilled technician.

How it works:
The following DVDs should be studied while your CT scanner is installed:

1. “CT Coronary Angiography Instrumentation & Protocols” can be studied on a DVD presented by Dr. Frank J. Rybicki, MD, PhD, who is Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Section and Director of the Applied Imaging Science Laboratory in the Department of Radiology at Brigham Women’s Hospital. He is also Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.

2. “50 Mentored Cases of Non-Contrast CT, Calcium Scoring” by Dr. Eric Harrison, together with Tracey Saunders





3. “Practical Interpretation of Coronary Artery Computed Tomography on the Workstation”





With this 4 hour Educational 3 DVD Set you will learn from over 100 mentored cases in 8 different chapters. All cases are presented and reviewed on the VitalImagesTM Workstation by the technologist and the physicians; Dr. Pim J. de Feyter, editor of “Computed Tomography of Coronary Arteries” and Dr. Eric Harrison

After your CT scanner has been installed with your VitalImagesTM Workstation your training will continue by;

4. Practicing cases from the 100 unprocessed Case Library on your workstation with written interpretive support

5. Training on-site with a Cardiac CT Technician will be available upon your request.

6. Reviewing your own cases daily on your own workstation after they are acquired, via live Internet connection by an expert level III mentor using Cardiac NetMentorTM.
To accomplish this, your VitalImagesTM Workstation will be upgraded with a whiteboard and SimulReadTM Software for simultaneous expert review of studies, as well as VOIP Software for instant communication via headsets.
Connectivity with a T3 Line and a Virtual Private Network (VPN connection) will be necessary to take advantage of this unique part of the training program. We will need your access codes to connect with your workstation thru the internet, which will be HIPPA compliant.

Further training as you advance in Cardiac CT Imaging, will include these DVDs presenting integrating anatomy with function with the use of PET/CT and coronary CTA;

7. “Cardiac PET/CT and Coronary CTA, Lecture and Workshop”: a two DVD Teaching Program of Multimodality Imaging presented by Dr. Marcelo Fernando DiCarli, M.D., Chief, Division of Nuclear Medicine-PET, Co-Director of Cardiovascular Imaging, Radiology Brigham Women’s Hospital, Boston. With Dr. Eric E. Harrison, Clinical Associate Professor of University of South Florida.
